Do you have a prayer list? I do, and it keeps growing. Of course, my family members and friends are at the top the list. However, lately I have found myself feeling sorry for fellow PR professionals. And they have made their way to my prayer list.
I am praying for BP’s PR team. Imagine what their lives have been like. They are getting slammed from every direction, and there is no end in sight. Like most people, I don’t like the disaster caused by this company, but I continue to pray for the PR team.
Wow…. I am praying for Mel Gibson’s publicist. Just when you think you’ve heard it all – literally – another audio tape pops up. I am seriously considering moving the publicist to the top of my prayer list.
I guess “King James” should feel good that the owner of his former team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, sent such a passionate message to the fans. Not so much! But getting back to our PR colleagues… Do you think they had a heads-up on the message before the owner sent it? Did they agree with it? Did their opinions matter? Again, I am praying for them as well.
Tiger Woods’ PR team definitely needs our prayers. This story dominated the news for months. Did these folks get any sleep, down time or breaks? If not, hopefully my prayers will make up for it.
